Alexander Pall is an American DJ, musician, singer, songwriter and record producer born on May 16, 1985 in New York City, New York, USA. Pall grew up with a passion of DJing. Immediately after college, he started DJing around New York City and as an art gallery graduate, he fell in love with Electronic Music because it was consuming much of his time. Later in 2012, he met Taggart and their music career kickstarted. Apart from music, Pall is also an actor having featured in movies like Words on Bathroom Walls, Paris, and Hardflip.

The Chainsmokers is an American electronic DJ and production duo from New York state, consisiting of Alexander "Alex" Pall and Andrew "Drew" Taggart.They started out by releasing remixes of songs by indie artists. The electronic dance music duo uo achieved a breakthrough with their 2014 song #Selfie, which became a top twenty single in several countries. The group went on to have commercial success with the single Roses in 2015 and Don't Let Me Down and Closer in 2016, which both went #1 They have won a Grammy Award , two American Music Awards, seven Billboard Music Awards, and nine iHeartRadio Music Awards. According to Forbes 2019 list of highest paid celebrities, the Chainsmokers were the highest paid DJs, dethroning Calvin Harris after six years. you can gist the reason why they are my favourite, mixing music and singing altogether! The Chainsmokershas has released a series of studio albums, music videos, extended plays, singles, promotional singles, soundtracks, and of course remixes.

Andrew "Drew" Taggart is an American DJ born on December 31, 1989, in Portland, Maine, US. He studied music business at ‘Syracuse University,’ New York. During this period, he did his internship in music management with ‘Interscope Records.’ He turned to electronic dance music at the age of 15, when he was in Argentina. He met Alex Pall in 2012 and started making indie music remixes.Soon, Alex and Andrew became the face of ‘The Chainsmokers'.
